I have been terrible about posting lately. Lo siento. Or sorry for our non-spanish speaking friends.
Good news for the blog/ bad news for me, my boss had to let me go for a while because of financial issues and a slow in business. Huge bummer but I understand so no big deal. I am trying my best to be a half-full kind of gal lately. This particular glass is half-full of free-time for me to work on my own work/portfolio. Hazzah!
I have been attempting to schedule several shoots for my kids portfolio. It has been a bit chaotic because I got SO many responses and it's a bit hard to get back to everyone and keep track of who's who. I'm trying though.
I did my first shoot for my kids portfolio the other day with one of the most ridiculously beautiful little girls and as if that wasn't a treat enough for a photographer they were super fun and sweet! Jackpot I know!

They also had some of their adorable family friends come over to be photographed. Lucky me to get to shoot so many cute kids in one day!

Oh and what do you think of the new logo?
I'm still working on it. I was going to hire someone but with no incoming money my lack of graphic design skills will have to make do for now.
I'm also hoping to get a new blog design that allows me to put larger pictures up. I will so miss this one though. I think it's adorable. =)

I like your logo. It captures both the formal and fun loving side of your job. For my company (kreativehumor.com) we just asked someone if they would make our logo for free, and they said yes! A couple months later someone randomly contacted us asking if he could design our website; once again, for free. I guess my point is that everyone has to start somewhere, and that free work is also free publicity.
That's awesome that they were willing to do it for free! I guess I never thought that graphic designers do free work when starting out too. Interesting! Thanks for that tip! =)
You're back! :D
I'm really curious though, why is there a "j"? :)
That's a really good questions. My middle name is Jessica.
My mom just made a good point that someday... though probably very far away =).. my last name is going to change and that's the kind of stuff I need to think of now cause it would suck to have to change my business name when I hopefully one day have clients.
Aw :(
Well thanks for answering my question. I'm sure you'll have clinets soon :)
Amazing great photo's! I make children's clothes and yoga wear and I'm always frustrated that I can't take good enough photo's.... (with my ancient point and shoot machine)... who knows, maybe one day I'll be a client!
